Here it is, our short form documentary – Keep Drifting Fun.

In 2010 we crisscrossed the USA interviewing drivers and covering grassroots drifting events. We wanted to know why people choose to drift, how they got into the sport, and why the love it. The answer is simple, its fun. In fact, its the most fun you can have with a car. Once you do it, you’re hooked and for children of the action sports era – its easy to understand being subjective and judged. In this short form documentary, we visit some of the most vibrant and passionate drifting communities in the US. We talk with up and coming amateur drivers and pro drifters about the sport and why Keep Drifting Fun is more than just a motto – it has changed their lives.

Thanks to NOS Energy Drink – we premiered Keep Drifting Fun to two totally packed theaters on Thursday May 10th, 2012. There was standing room only at the second screening and to keep everyone else that couldn’t make the premiere in Atlanta, Georgia – here is the first :90 of the movie. The full half hour length documentary film will be available on Vimeo on Wednesday May 16th. Stay tuned to this site and our facebook for more.

We are busy editing Keep Drifting Fun the full length release – here is one of our favorite shots from XDC Phoenix as an animated gif. Something that happens so fast in real time, but with the RED Epic – we were able to capture the pavement exploding at 300 frames per second. Keep Drifting Fun and Beard Life caught up with Bil Baldwin at Formula Drift Long Beach. Bil is known as the crazy flag marshall who peeks out from behind the 1st clipping point wall at on coming cars. His beard earned him the nickname “Santa” from Formula D MC – Jarod DeAnda. Bil gives insight to his awesome beard and his love for drifting.

Daigo Saito, D1 Champion was the talk of Formula Drift Long Beach – as his 1,000+ HP Lexus SC laid down thick clouds of smoke through the street course this past weekend. We liked his runs so much, we cut together some of our favorite Daigo clips for a quick edit before our Long Beach video drops this week.

We finally got around to printing some colder weather Keep Drifting Fun clothing. Our first offering is a limited run of Keep Drifting Fun crew neck sweatshirts.

Printed on California Fleece crew neck sweatshirts by American Apparel. These 100% cotton crew necks are soft! We used discharge for the white part of the logo and a soft mint colored ink for the KDF block logo.

Linhbergh started to float away the sweatshirt was so lightweight and comfortable!
