About
In late 2008, Joshua Herron and Will Roegge met at the final round of Formula Drift’s 2008 season in Irwindale, California. The two immediately began discussing the idea of filming a DVD while driving cross country, but it wasn’t until late 2009 when the two finally decided it was time to tackle the project with the mindset, “If we don’t do this now, we’ll never have another chance”.
Starting in April 2010, the two will be trekking across the United States in a 1974 Volkswagen Westfalia, documenting the grassroots drifting community and more importantly, everything that makes drifting fun.
The filmĀ Keep Drifting Fun will be released in spring 2011 during the Formula Drift Long Beach event.
Joshua Herron
Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Joshua Herron; 21 years old, has been involved with digital filmmaking since 2002. His hobbies include film, music, peanut butter sandwiches, waffles, juice, hanging out with his dogs, sleeping, and of course….motorsports.
In 2005, Josh began his first job in the video industry as an intern at local Las Vegas TV station, KLVX Channel 10. During that time he worked as a camera operator and later became a video engineer, editing live shows. After 2 years at KLVX, and having to sit through countless hours of “Sesame Street, and Barney” Josh left KLVX to work full-time as a freelance video director/cinematographer/editor/colorist.
In July of 2008 Josh filmed his first professional drift event, Formula Drift Las Vegas. After being involved with the local drifting community, and drifting his own personal 1996 240sx since 2006, filming drifting and motorsports in general, seemed to fit perfectly into what Josh wanted to do.
Josh looks forward to traveling across the country for many reasons; meeting new people on a daily basis, experiencing America, and finding out what everyone loves about drifting and what makes drifting fun for them.
Will Roegge
Born in Pittsburgh, PA and raised in Cleveland, OH, Will Roegge; 26 years old, has been working in digital filmmaking since re-locating to Los Angeles, CA in 2006. His hobbies include photography, sketching, chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter, black coffee, and snowboarding.

A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Will worked as an editor, post production supervisor, and video producer for serveral automotive websites. In 2009, he started his own production company with journalist turned producer Ricky Chu. Currently, Will is the digital film director for Speedhunters
While traveling the country during the production of Keep Drifting Fun, Will hopes to capture Americana through his photography and 365 day photo blog ARTPANTS. He also is excited to use emerging technology like HD DSLRs and specialized rigs to capture grassroost drifting in a way that has never been attempted previously.
